You should have two pieces of ID. One can be your pr card. They never checked copr during my ceremony but i kept it with me..just in case.

They told me to expect 2-4 wks during my ceremony. However, I am hoping it will come in 2 weeks. :)

do they tell how much time to get the certificate by mail? i mean some rough timeframe?

The same thing happened to me. For me, it took a few months. However, I think it will probably be sooner for you. I was asked to submit scan copy of all pages of the passport. If any stamp was not in English, it was to be translated. They may ask for an interview.

You should check with them. I think u maybe able to take interview from outside of Canada, but it's better to check with them

My office is Vancouver. They didn't update the online tracker, but the IRCC agent told me that she can see that my ceremony date is Dec 6. She even told me time and type of ceremony. She said that they usually send email invitation 1-2 wks before the ceremony date.

I was able to get hold of an agent who informed me that my ceremony is scheduled on Dec 6, 2022. She said that they usually send out the formal invitation email 1-2 weeks before the ceremony. This is the reason that an email is not send yet. I hope its the same case with everyone who received...
