Does anyone know how long passport stays at the IRCC in Ghana? Our passport is now a week with them.

I have not contacted IRCC, i think there's no need since COPR has not been issued. I am tracking status with IRCC

I am not discarding any system. just letting you know that a new system is now available in place of ecas. if u still use it and it works for u that fine.

I am in the same situation. VFS said passport is in transit to IRCC office for processing, almost 3wks now and no update from IRCC or their portal. I guess the wait will have to continue till once I am able to confirm COPR has been issued.

I think they are working weekends now, probably due to the backlog. I got my ppr on a Sunday as well. It could also be bcos of the long weekend in Canada since no work on Monday.:)

Thanks for the update. IRCC has changed to a new of viewing or getting updates. My profile still read 'In process' so I guess COPR is yet to be issued. Anyway, I will email VFS on Monday.

Dee, I think is over a month now since u said u mailed ur passport. Have u received any updates from vfs lagos? or did u track your status on the new ecas portal to know if copr has been issued? I suspect vfs lagos might not have the most recent update as my tracking is still showing in transit...

Did you mail your passport directly to Accra VFS?

I don't know why the Lagos VFS process is so slow to deliver documents to and fro Accra. Just disappointing!
