No, inland is direct CoPR. You either get a portal invite to upload your photo for the PR card, a phone call to confirm your presence in Canada, or a direct CoPR approval on the application.

They’ll also get sarcastic with you if you call too often. Personally I tried calling once a month, and it isn’t my fault that it’s been dragging on for almost a year, but they were still quite rude about it.

My medicals expire on May 9. Will they only extend it when finalizing the application? Or will they do it proactively before approval?

June 13 here still waiting. Had one GU on Apr 8 but nothing new was passed. Call centre agents also have no idea. You’re probably close to the finish line. Is your criminality already passed? If so, it’s likely CoPR time.

The weekly processing capacity update seems to be a farce. Plenty of June CEC applicants still waiting including myself. No movement on my file for about 5-6 months now.

These days they seem to (conclusively) pass eligibility on the date of CoPR, or shortly before. Gives hope to those still stuck on recommended pass.

Called IRCC today, they said no new notes, could be an officer who just viewed the file and saved.

Starting to wonder how accurate that timeline is. Maybe it's just programmed to automatically add 1 week each time. Seems too convenient to me.

What does the T4 address show? It has to be a Canadian address.

They will remove information from after your request date though. I had some missing sections and wrote back. They replied saying info from after the request date isn’t shown. Eg you request on 1 Jan, an officer entered a note on 7 Jan, and your notes are generated 14 Jan, that officer’s note...

That means you’re about to get your CoPR. Should be in a few days.

That should be in sequence, so the assumption is that anything before august has started processing. I’m just sceptical about what this means. Quite a few August AORs have been fully approved months ago. Very confusing..

To those waiting for security to show in progress.... it will almost never show anything other to an “not started” or blank once approved. As long as your eligibility has been conclusively passed, it would’ve started. Be thankful as some people as still waiting to get to that stage.

No I haven’t. I’ve been stuck on eligibility recommended pass since October. Hence security hasn’t even started.
