Everything is tiring about IRCC but what I have discovered is when you pass the first stage, you forget about that stage and start asking how soon for the next stage. People on this pathway are mostly people who have been denied Refugee claims, which would have easily made a wait time of over 24...

Nice one. These are the kind of things we need to make these guys sit up and do their jobs. I am afraid many of us are always too docile and tend to "leave everything for God"

I understand they were holding passports because of the travel restrictions. They should be released now with the lifting of restrictions.

You are right. I sent my documents by e-mail in December. Total silence from IRCC. Then in April, I sent the same documents by DHL and they acknowledged receipt and put me on April queue. I have lost 4 months wait time just like that.

You need to send the forms to the responsible office yourself.

OP should apply for H&C. The approval rate is extremely high now maybe due to compassionate ground as a result of covid. Some people with very bad Assylum cases and even removal at their door step have applied and been approved for H&C. She just needs a good lawyer to marshall all her points.
