Ghost updates like crazy recently. Nothing ever changes for our app though. I'm guessing they are just system updates.... :confused:

If your application was submitted online ECAS is useless to you as it is only for paper applications.

It was supposed to say the VO on my letter for sponsorship approval but it didn't. I will likely have to call.

Sydney is the receiving office where they decide on sponsor approval and where they direct applicants to complete biometrics and medicals. Once those are complete, they will transfer your file usually to the closest VO to where your applicant lives. Thought this may not be the case as some...

We are still waiting to learn which VO is processing our application. Should be New York or LA but recently US apps have been going through Ottawa. Not sure why as they recently re-opened LA after Covid.

Our first app was returned 10 months after our online submission with no AOR and it was their screw up because they routed our outland app to their inland office.

On the paper letter form IRCC it says the app will be "forwarded to a visa office". Then it says should I need to make enquiries I "must email the visa office listed above". They didn't indicate which visa office the app was transferred to. Anyone know how to get this info? The tracker only...
