i was also getting this error, It may sounds illogical but try to sign up by keeping place of birth as Blank. May people were able to log in like that.

It was like that before R10, but after that it changed to passed then we do not need your medicals.

What's the Update on tracker as of now. I would suggest to call IRCC may be today or tommorow and you can ask them the present stauts of the backgorund check and Eligibility.

I have seen a Case who got remedical request and got the Portal Confirmation 2 weeks after, Yes indeed i believe its a positive sign. Atleast someone touched our applications.
