No, It doesn't do anything to your procedure.. I verified it too with CIC Agent plus i have few friends from 3rd week of April, already got PPR and i am April 7 and still waiting..

CIO, NS means Sydney also i got a reply from Ottawa office when i asked if DM or PPr request comes from Sydney or Ottawa "It depends on the volume of visa printing happening at the office. Often when CIO Sydney approves an application, they will have the printing done at our office (CPC-O).

This is so frustrating and stressful.. I got an email on Oct 2 informing that my file its at Ottawa office. I emailed them yesterday again and i got a reply at 9.45pm (CST) which was wired to me as it was too late for them to reply, the email mentioned that my file is still at CIO, Ns..
