You can reply on same day you get the portal email. I replied same day about my vacation plan and within 10 minutes got reply from IRCC: reply us back once you are here in Canada with the details and we will further process it.

It depends if you ever had UCI previously. The UCI number that starts with CAN is a random temporary number from the Express Entry system. It is not the same as a regular UCI. The temporary UCI number will change to a regular UCI number after the application crosses the R10 Completeness Check stage.

Thank you but I got my PR application approved today. Next steps would be to get eCOPR via PR portal credentials but would need to wait as I will be going on vacation. Will post eCOPR timelines once I am back. Hopefully things go smooth next year!
