Was the letter on July 7, 2014 was a RQ? If yes it might take time. In either case try calling call center they might have an answer. But you are still under a year and I doubt they will give you any concrete answer.

Check the BLS site and download the application and list of documents. They need exactly what it says and it is pretty clear what they need. Follow the instruction. It is pretty clear. and Yes you can fill everything online ..take a print and take it to BLS.

Good news. My spouse had few stamps in Spanish/Russian and they did not ask for translation.I have heard good things about officer's in Kitchener. But if you can get translation for YMCA or anyplace without paying a fortune or much effort..it does not hurt. You never know. All the best and keep...

Till now no one. Most of email AOR recipient's application got transferred to in process/local office in Mid Dec. I guess we should start seeing some test invite after Mid/End Feb (that will be around 2 months time once transferred to local office.) Eagerly waiting for process to be over :)

Think like PR Card. OCI is processed at Printed in India like PR application in Canada get processed at Vegerville or some center. Document received means OCI booklet is ready for you to pick up. A booklet is issued in India and comes by mail to Toronto. Takes two week to received at Toronto...

Looks like me and " eltorpe " are the first ones to receive the email AOR on this thread :-(. Looks like they started trial with Kitchener applicants ;-) When I see my friends who applied with me in Mid June having test done/oath letter received/oath done..I really feel sad for myself...

If you/your wife/ your son have passport since the day he landed and have landing stamp on the passport.. that's all it matter. I think he was born when your PR application was in process... you don't have to worry.

It is always good idea to get valid H1b visa cancelled at port of entry they stamp it "Cancelled " or "Cancelled without prejudice". Salil next time when you go to border ask them to stamp it on your visa.

Both address is CIC office and mail receiving is done by same unit sometime.
