Has anyone heard any stories about delays in processing caused by taking a short trip (~3 weeks) outside Canada after taking the test?

Thanks you're right. I should have mentioned that I have two activities that are ongoing. In this case, the guidelines say to type “present” instead of putting a date in the “To” field.
