    CBSA notes will have details regarding what is going on with your security, if you know your security is in process and its been more than 1 month, you can order CBSA notes. CBSA notes look like GCMS notes but in GCMS notes the Security related issues are retracted.

    True, i know another case, my very close friend, who was sitting from last 4 months with no update, and once he ordered the notes he got the PPR within 20 days. He is yet to receive his notes. Congratulations by the way :)

    No, the processing time is taking around 6-7 months. Do you have your gcms notes?

    So to take away the confusion, SS is part of security, everyone goes through it. The delay is when the application goes to CSIS from CBSA. i would suggest you to order CBSA notes and then check the application is sent to CSIS or not. If it is with CBSA, it is normal and it takes 2-12 weeks

    So, with what i have noticed is 2 reasons. 1. The request is just missed by IRCC and when you raise a complaint they file it again and then send it after 25-30 days, so in this case you get the notes in 50-60 days. 2. The file in such a stage that they won't register your request at that point...
