You don't need to submit your parent's birth certificate if you are sponsoring your parents. but you need their marriage certificate..

Thanks Bryanna, they are going to be here for 2 years in October in their current visit (it is their first visit too)..so if I apply for extension it will be more than 2 yrs in canada.. That is what I am worrying..
