I just don’t understand why outland gets his background check verified so fast and then approval, while I’m inside Canada and applied before to come here a few times, have my history of immigration in their system, but I have to wait at the of the queue.

My Eligibility passed on Feb 21 and since then (GU) my BGC in GCkey says: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.” From what I read on this forum they haven’t started yet my background check as this should go back to ”We are processing…”...

Who has everything passed, but only security not started?

Last time I was in India Jan 5, 2022. My PCC which I submitted at the time of AOR was issued on Jan 26, 2022 (requested and received being in Canada). I just got a new one yesterday and was thinking is it may expedite the process if I send a fresh one.

Thanks, pal. Do you know how long this could take? Some threads here say that it might take months or even years in some circumstances if it hasn’t turned back to “we are processing…” the next day.
