I submitted a webform informing IRCC that I am traveling between September 18, 2023 to October 15, 2023. Haven't had any updates since test complete. Test invite came from Scarborough office.

Hi folks! Any advice on how not to freak yourself out from the worst experiences detailed within this forum. This waiting game definitely brings the worst symptoms of anxiety out of me.

Let's play a game, what are the chances my LPP will complete within the next 30 days? All guesses are welcome. Scarborough office.

Took me from May 19 to July 1! I submitted a webform asking about it. Didn't receive a response, however, I did receive my test invite soon after.

Seems to me like they have not started any work on your application. Surprising as your secondary office is Vancouver. Have you contacted IRCC?

Yeah, I looked it up and couldn't find anything mentioned to the effect that the first passport cannot be issued abroad. Seems like as long as you have your citizenship certificate, you can apply for it anywhere...

You could just apply for a Canadian passport while overseas and return with that passport no?

As of today, both BG and Citizenship Test are now showing up as completed.

Can IRCC send a few people from Vancouver to the Scarborough office? Alternatively, any way I can request IRCC to transfer my file to Vancouver?

I just read the Discover Canada Guide once. I found it easy.

Just took the test and passed! Back to the waiting game. Really hope that the rest of the process is quick and I receive my passport before September 2023, however, I know that is too optimistic.

Took about 3 weeks. Not sure if submitting the webform made a difference.

Really happy for you! What happens if you get your oath invite while overseas? I guess you have no choice but to fly back? I have a trip planned for September for work and tourism. I am concerned about receiving the invite in the midst of my trip. Do you folks recommend I preemptively inform...

Hi folks, I have an external monitor with a mounted webcam that I connect to a laptop. I plan on using this to take the citizenship test. I see nothing in the test instructions that instructs me not to do so. Is this an acceptable way to proceed with taking the test? Any pointers on how to avoid...
