we were able to link our PR app that day using the passport info and application number, last name all caps and #2 for number of people on application (Sponsor and PA). it worked! But our OWP did not show up so we have going to try again for that one on tuesday after the holiday

I am a bit confused about your post. We applied for PR spousal sponsorship and also the OWP same time. we just received our AOR on the 3rd. Do you mean to say to shorten the time for owp to apply again online? wouldnt that be confusing for CIC to have two separate applications for the same person?

Our application was received on the same day as yours. Still waiting for the AOR. Average for OWP is 3-4 months. some people its quicker, not sure why though.

Re submitted our OWP and PR application and was received on June 26 (after some mistakes from our may application :( ). Waiting for the AOR. Many people seem to be receiving the AOR that had the first week of june applications. Thinking we should get the AOR in a week or two...fingers crossed
