Not sure I understand... DM means "Decision Made", that's all it said on ECAS

I don't think so.i submitted by hard copies in the end of August and got DM in 3 weeks or so...

Scarborough asks for hard copies unfortunately... They're not very climate conscious lol

You'll get an oath update in a couple of weeks. After DM is ready, the file moves to the "Oath Ready" status... someone on an FB group had emailed the folks who are in charge of the oath ceremony to ask for an earlier date - the response they got was that there is a large backlog of "oath ready"...

That would be a certain way for them to deprioritize your file if you piss them off...

I had my oath on Oct 4 - I received my certificate on Oct 8.. But my spouse's certificate arrived only on Oct 15... even though the stamp on the envelope was Oct 6.. so Canada Post screwed up the envelope for a good week..

No there wasn't.. but I emailed them a few days after I sent the docs just to confirm that they received it

No. Everyone does not recieve it.. sometimes, different members within the same family who applied together don't receive it

Update - This got resolved. Summary - I received my certificate 3 days after the oath. But my wife's envelope was not in the post. Upon calling IRCC they confirmed that the certificate was mailed along with mine. Which means Canada Post goofed up. Thankfully, the certificate showed up today...
