Actually I guess everyone applying for PR needs a medical exam. I just don't know in which phase of the process they will require it from us, since most applicants got it soon after AOR.

Now status became Submitted again, but the field Review of eligibility changed to: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Perhaps those who have a visitor status require some extra checks for not having a visa with an expiry date (instead, just stamps or entry/exit dates)?

OWP status changed to "Application/Profile Updated". Hope it's a good signal!

Same situation as you, and almost same dates - my AOR came on March 19. OWP status is still submitted...

No, my OWP was not approved yet. I could only link on Gckey, but the status is still Submitted. They will send the approval to applicant's email, but you can also check Gckey.

My application was received on January 30, AOR on Mach 19, OWP linked but no news so far.

I never saw CIC call anyone and ask to send something by fax. When we call them, they tell us to be careful about frauds. I would call CIC to check this information before doing anything else.

If the PA has UHIP (Ontario's health plan provided by the university), wouldn't it cover the medical exams?

It probably means that you will receive AOR soon. There's one person in the January Outland forum that is In Process and did not get AOR after some days, but apparently this is rare.

I used sponsor's UCI because PA did not have one.

Sometimes applicant or sponsor has a UCI (from a previous visa application), this way they can check status and even get a temporary number of the application before receiving the AoR.

I guess you are trying to link your application, but actually it is easier to just check the status on Ecas (with the UCI): https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

Hello Jenelle, I completely understand... Did you try to check your application on Ecas? My Ecas showed In Process some hours before I received the AoR.

Jan 30th sponsor here, AoR sent today to sponsor's email! :) Ecas shows In Process only for sponsor, not for PA. Does anyone know why our spreadsheet has a field for "PA's Ecas Says In Process" (and not Sponsor's)?

I called IRCC (1-888-242-2100), but you need to have the application number, which I was only able to get because I am a permanent resident and already have a UCI from my own application. Not sure if this is also your case, but anyways you can try!

Unfortunately it looks like they always return the application when the mistake is a missing signature or fees, even if you correct it using the webform. I did a deep research in this forum because I made a mistake in one of the forms and that's my conclusion. Sorry for the bad news, but you can...
