Yeah my third set of notes will come soon. Earlier in July, 2020 my eligibility was recommended pass and in September 2020, eligibility and security were passed. Only criminality was pending and in the notes, saw the officer written that 'approval pending biometrics'. But it's been 4 months...

Yea many times. Keep getting the same message that criminality is in process. Even contacted the local MP and got the reply to wait until medical expiry. Btw there are many who applied in Feb and March 2020 in same boat so no hard feelings though.

Applied on March 7, 2020 (CEC) 11 months and 4 days over. BIO done on Oct 13. Then no news until now. The ball still rolling

Applying myself will make her run out of status. I think BOWP is the best bet in that case. But will wait a while and do it. Thanks for the reply bud.

Hey mate, I would be needing to apply for this one too as mine is expiring in March and no news about the PR application. Since I've my wife with me, my doubt is can we submit both of our applications together? She didn't study in Canada and her status is Spouse open work permit. Any ideas?

Quebec has own immigration program. Your Montreal job offer won't give 50 points for express entry. Quebec immigration is so tedious for non French speakers. So if your target stream is express entry then don't go to Quebec.

It's probably in a queue for an agent to touch your file and clear criminality based on the submitted biometrics. I've submitted mine on Oct 13. March 7 AOR. Called and got reply that criminality is in progress.

You have to ask them specifically about 1) Eligibility 2) Criminality and 3) Security to get a proper response.

Processing time doesn't matter. They have to clear the various review levels before giving the final approval. Look at the gcms notes and see where your profile stands.
