My understanding is that the implied status temporarily 'overrides' the expiration date of the sin. Legally, you should be able to take the new job. Not all employers are familiar with the implied status rules though and so might be hesitant to hire. I would say call CIC just to be sure.

Normally means a case agent is working on your file. The others on the forum who had this same experience got approved soon after
