From what I know Canadian embassy in Qatar in Tornado Tower does not process visa. They are only there for their nationals.

I got the same letter yesterday. I applied in Qatar but I guess processing is in Abu Dhabi. Seems like they are reviewing in batches. Hoping and praying for an approval.

Congratulations! Glad to hear that. IMO visa approval is subjective. Though there is likelihood that what happened to one applicant might happen to the other. However, it will depend on the approving officer's perspective on how he sees your documents. Keep up that attitude of not giving up.
