my file was transferred from Mississauga to Vancouver a couple months ago and they said it's based on the country of my parents. knowing Mississauga is much more efficient, I guess there are preferred countries that are kept there and the rest get sent to Vancouver.

my father has slightly different spellings, so I put that in where they asked if there are any other names used. and also added a note in the clarification letter. in your case you would have to submit a letter explaining the situation, confirming with evidence that it's indeed the same person.

clever! I can see the id of the case worker assigned. although it seems like the assignment was done in September. the 'document' node has quite a bit of info on the status of each document. from the looks of it, mine hasn't been touched at all.
