Hi All I need advise regarding applying for OCI, my Indian passport has my full name however my Canadian Passport has my first name as XXX and last name has my full name. Will it be an issue ? Any one in similar situation ?

It takes time to update the test results on the tracker as an IRCC officer has to validate the results, give it 2-3 weeks at least

An update today :)) The final 3 language, physical presence and prohibition has been updated to complete today and citizenship ceremony to in progress

Got an update on today's date but there is no new update it just has a star next to Background Verification completed and test completed BG was done in May and Test in April so am kinda confused why is it showing as new update ??

Hi, is it true that IRCC has opened another office in Vancouver ? My file has been transferred to Vancouver office from GTA, I did not know its a separate office for backlog cases.

Did anyone have any luck emailing the Vancouver office for update on their file ? Any idea if that would help in processing the file faster ?

There shouldn’t be an issue for the interview but the oath will only be scheduled once you are back in Canada and send them proof of your return. Hope this helps

I got my GCMS notes too and though it said that Language, Prohibition and Physical Presence have not yet started my file has been transferred to Vancouver office too though I am located in GTA and got my test invite from SCR office. Do let me know if you hear anything from Vancouver office.
