    well, they are holding also refusals so people don't reapply fast and increase the load of applications when VAC offices are closed. i think in general they are holding decisions until they are fully operating again

    it will be so hard with the FSW draws since it has been paused for a while and the current pool is huge. you won't qualify for CEC until you get 1 year of Canadian experience. CEC is the fastest and easiest way with less stress.

    your application haven't been reviewed yet so relax. i mean with current pandemic in india they are holding ppr and refusals many applicants got bvl without any updates. some people asked for GCMS notes and saw that they failed eligibility review

    they make decisions in minutes . once your eligibility review starts, they make decision the same day. sometimes they take some time verifying some documents or background check. . usually bad news come fast. i would be very concerned but i have seen people get ppr in 6 days. mine took 13 days...

    yes. that is straight refusal. i doubt the visa officer will spend more time on this. cousins are not direct family members and as stated by you, the program is very expensive and the applicant has 0 funds in their name and the money is not personal and it is not enogh. if it was at least 80k...

    medical examination is part of the study permit process. since he got it and went to Canada. he doesn't need it anymore. he would need to take another one if he applied for new study permit or for extension when he is outside canada.

    yes. probably they will reopen slowly and gradually, So great news. Sadly my country has very very slow vaccination process. Still waiting my turn. Currently they are only giving doses to +40 yo folks.

    not all travelers. only canadians and pr holders. at least in phase 1.
