Yes the letter where they tell you that you are approved to sponsor your partner. So in this case I believe that they sent you this letter so that you pay RPRF and they start processing your spouse's file. Good Luck.

We are at the same stage as you. And hopefully we get PPR soon.

You have 2 options when you apply you can pay RPRF upfront or they will send you a request later on once application has sponsorship approval from IRCC. So my question to you is have you received Sponsorship approval letter? If so, how long ago before you got RPRFI letter.
