honestly it's very tough to predict. but at least we have some insights in this forum. My application back in 2022 - 23 was very different versus my wife's processing timeline now. Definitely the processing time has changed.. Anytime the applications can move forward or stuck in the same stage...

Based on my personal experience and from across threads. nobody actually knows the weightage across topics. But I can assure you that if you read the guide two to three times and take few practice test then you should be good enough to pass.

Update: Background Complete on Aug 9th, tracker updated on August 13.

Still did not receive the test email. Planning to call ircc tomorrow, but I assume we can take the test anytime within the window even if the email was not received?

Update: Received AOR today - July 23

Still did not receive AOR, I see some applications with later submission date has got AOR. Also, I see a trend of Mississauga applications getting AOR a bit delayed. Is this something to worry about or just my observation?

Around what time did you receive the email? I know it is normally during early morning, is that the case?

That's what the agent told when I called them last week. They said once her application is approved they will send an email to physically mail her original PR card and then they will send another email to download certificate. But, to my surprise I got an email to download certificate this...

since it was a minor only application there is no oath as my daughter is just 5 years old.

Received email to download e-Certificate today morning and I was able to download the certificate instantly. When I called them a week ago they said application is still in progress and will receive an email to mail my daughters PR card but that email was never received. Everything is still in...

Does someone know for minor application under section 5(2). We will receive e-Certificate only after mailing in original PR card to CPC as minors do not have ceremony? There is no update since AOR in 22 Nov 2024. Application submitted on Nov 1st. Processing office is Scarborough.

UPDATE: Received PR card in mail today. The status in online portal still says "Submitted" even in inspect. No change so ever since submission, never received AOR, never been able to link. Timeline: Submitted: Online on Feb 23, 2024 Received Card: March 18, 2024.

Mine is Nov 1 application with AOR Nov 22. SCR office, but it's a minor only application. any idea please?

Applied on same date as yours (Non-urgent). No update so far and inspection says "Submitted"
