no i did not. opted for 10 year validity passport so paid 160$ for 2 adult applications and 57$ for my daughter

you dont need to.. judge will read the oath and you have to repeat it after the judge. National anthem video will be played you have to sing along with that.

under 14 kids are not required to be present for the oath, but their ID proofs must be shown ( PR card and Passport) and their PR card must be cut along with yours during the oath.
