Visa offices in Pakistan opening do not effect us spousal sponsorship applicants do they? I think once LVO completes processing the passport is sent to Canadian High Commission in Islamabad to issue visa.

There have been people who were called for interviews because the age difference between sponsor and principal applicant was greater than 7 years

If you are full shaadi case and there no red flags (age difference, education level, second marriages etc) then it normally takes 2-3 months from AOR2 to DM and Passport request. These are not normal days though. I do not expect passport requests for atleast a couple more months.

Same boat here. I'm also Feb 2019 applicant stuck on DM since the lockdowns in March. What stage is your application at? Are you looking to apply for visit visa?

National Capital Region = Ottawa There is a CPC in Ottawa as well that deals with study, visitor, work permit etc processing. Beside most of our applications are stuck in the London Visa Office, which has not been mentioned in this notification.

Pakistani spousal applications are processed in London, so it is very much of concern for us whether London office is open or not. I do not know of the mandate of Canadian visa offices in Pakistan but they do not process spousal applications. Only passport is sent to CHC Islamabad for sticking...

Reading the link, it seems this is for people applying in-person or those residing in UK. I'm not sure it applies to us Pakistani applicants, since our decision letters aren't couriered to us. Instead we get them electronically.

UK PM just announced further lifting of lockdown, effectively there is no lockdown anymore. Everything is open but you have to follow SOPs. Seems like the SOPs that LVO staff are following is stay at home and do nothing.

Anyone has successful experience of getting visitor visa ever since the lockdown started? Since LVO staff have decided to go on a long vacation and there seems to be no hope in the sponsorship application I was thinking about applying for visitor visa for my wife.
