May 25 Applicant. Biometrics and medical test completed last week. We just had our file move to CPC Ottawa today.

Did anyone get the appointment at anyone of the newly open VFS centres in India? We too just got the automated Biometrics appointment confirmation.

The BIL number is the Application number. And we need to upload the pdf of the BIL letter after we type in the Application number (BIL Number.)

Got the AOR and Biometric request today! Praise the lord :):):) Has anyone tried contacting VAC's in India? They are still closed, I read.

How do you guys get AORs? Are they sent to you via email on your personal email ID?

I posted this on the other group as well (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/march-2020-outland-spousal-sponsorship.680339/post-8936118) but honestly I think this guy has the AOR and the temp application number mixed up. And he is calling the XF number as his AOR.

It is possible that either this is the lone anomaly, or that he’s talking about the temporary XF application number that people are getting. Probably he has AOR and the temporary number mixed up.

In midst of this never ending wait for AORs, has anyone tried applying for TRV for their spouse? Or are they still ruthlessly rejecting those ?

@singleman Thanks for updating us. Would you be able to give us the phone number on which you called? I called them and the call got disconnected saying that we needed to enquire using Webform only.

All those who are trying to apply for a TRV, do we have to wait until we get the AOR to apply for the TRV? There has been radio silence from IRCC about any and all AORs, hence was wondering if it is even worth waiting, god knows how long, for the AOR, before applying for the TRV?
