Your residency status probably doesn't matter for PhD application. It all depends on your academic performance.

I submitted my application with 470 on april 8th and I have been anxiously waiting since then. who would have thought things have gotten this bad. I am lucky enough to have received OINP on july 31th, but still I am not sure if they will reject me...

sigh. I am at 470, and I don't think I stand a chance given that they are now doing alternate draws. All hope is gone.

These biweekly draws are the only predictable thing in the whole process. My OINP submission has not changed its status for almost a month.
