I just mailed both of my passports for surrender and entry visa. I guess I must send the originals in that case since they need to cancel the Indian PP and stamp Indian visa on the Canadian PP. It is good to know only copies are sufficient for OCI process mail in.

Hi guys, the BLS website states this for Toronto jurisdiction OCI process: "The minimum processing time to return the original documents is 7-15 working days" Do they still keep the originals that long regardless of us applying by mail-in vs walk in?
