Thank you ppl, Oath done successfully on 26th . Just wanted to share you if you do not receive email to download e-certificate soon, Just login to the portal where you are supposed to download it and keep checking after few hours of Oath. I was able to download the Certificate with in 3 hours...

I am assuming you didn't apply OCI for your child already while you were in USA ? and applying now in Canada

We are planning to travel and need the Passport done sooner after the Oath, Based on the experiences in this group do we need to have Flight tickets to request Express Service ? ( 2-9 business days ) Also if you went with Regular service, how long did it take for you to receive the passport in...

Ideally if the FP are received, BG should be completed with in couple of days ( Based on multiple responses i have seen from people, including mine last week). I would recommend to call ( 1st step) to check the status, request for GCMS ( if not done) , and last reach out to your local MP to help...

May be they never wanted FP :) just to keep the applicants distracted on the reason for delay. Anyways if they could do the justice by not keeping waited from now on, that would be it.

For all those who had to give Fingerprints, can some of you share timelines post the FP ? My application is almost 6 months now :( There are no complex things which might lead to this delay - Our tests were done in April.

Yep, same ghost update for me as well on June 28th. RCMP - 1-833-541-3089, have your DCN number ready to check the status. They can only tell if RCMP received your FP and sent to IRCC, but no tracking on mail to IRCC. Seems it will take ~10 days for the mail to reach IRCC.

IRCC -1800-242-2100 Selections - 1 ( English)- 1 ( select 1 and enter UCI) - 1 ( Confirm the UCI) - 3 ( Out of 3 options) - 4 ( Out of 5 )- 0 ( to speak to an agent) ....Majority of the times you will hear all the agents are busy. Try calling first thing in the morning or between 3.30-4 PM.
