no issue you can go to India/ if u get the ppr over there u can send it to canada embassy. no issue with immigration. unless you are in closed work permit.- nsatyagl

In my situation i already submitted the passport while applying. I think they will ask your passport once you got the approval decision in email. -

They dont tell you its approved or not. It will show only your processed passport dispatched from vfs thats it. If you link the application then you will know the decision. -

I applied on august 8 in banglore. I got the visa 19th and received passport today.
