Even i was at the same stage last week, i called ircc next day, they told me that security processing for your file has been started, and today i got on more GU which changed my background check from NA to we are processing.

Even my medical was passed on July 6 and i got a GU last week, there was no change on background check it still shows Not Applicable. I called customer care, they said that update was for your background check, it started but that not applicable is a technical glitch. Idk what should i assume now?

GU didn't changed anything on my GC Key, called IRCC so the agent informed that yesterday they started my security. So right now, my elibility,criminality and security everything is in progress, although my background check still shows not available. I had a bit more conversation with that...

They changed my medicals to passed again on Jul 06, but rest everything's the same, eligibility in progress,background check N/A

I hope new Immigration minister will come up with a solution to end backlogs asap,and put an end to this discussion form on a happy note for everyone.

Any update for all those whose medical was updated recently? Going through old posts i saw once medical is updated it takes just few days or weeks to get an approval but, nothing’s changed on my file since last update of medical on July 6.

It seems like they approved medical for lots of candidates on July 6, i hope that it wasn’t a tech glitch

Medical updated again, that’s the last update. Background check still not applicable. Eligibility and criminality in progress, security needs to be started.
