I failed to show proper home ties according to AUH. My husband and children are not home ties according to them. So better ask other experts here who didn’t get refusal based on home ties. Sorry I am no expert in this.

AUH visa office don’t refuse young student’s application usually. But there are delays because of pandemic which may force you to start studying online without a final decision. When you have LOA from a Tier 1 or 2 public university your chances of getting a refusal is very low.

I think you don’t have to travel to India, you can apply online giving your Indian address, do your medical and biometric in Qatar.

Sorry to hear that. 70% of decisions from AUH is like this, especially when you are a mature student and GCC resident . Apply from your home country. Was it you first application?

Where did she/he apply from? India? Or GCC? Where was the application processed? It’s a public university that too in Atlantic immigration province, so higher chances of getting an approval.

I did not get GCMS for first refusal. Tie-up in the current country of residence is my husband and two children studying here. Moreover, I have attached a job offer from my company, after completing MBA. I will get gcms notes and try after a year.

I had hope this time as I have attached all possible documents. AUH VO just refuses without even looking at your documents.

I received my second refusal from AUH today. Same reasons, will not leave Canada 1) home ties (even after showing all property documents) 2)purpose of visit 3)limited employment prospects in country of residence. I applied on 20 December 2020

I read somewhere in this forum, one Indian living in UAE got approval on his fourth application, when he applied from India. Now not able to find the thread. He applied through an agent from Kochi, Kerala. He did not even fly back to India to submit his documents.

The visa office for applicants from Middle East is usually Abu Dhabi. It depends on the country you chose at the time of application.

Are you applying from India? Or any other country? Sorry, I doubt my SOP will be of any help for you. It’s a very personalized one. I don’t think it’s a strong one too. I can give you the “why I chose UCW?” part of it and may be “why Canada why not home country?” too.
