Well, let's hope they resolve the issue soon. If not, they should at least close the online portal temporarily until they figure out what's going on.

Hi Everyone, My wife's OHIP card will expire in about 90 days (Jan 21, 2023) and we are looking at renewing it soon. Is it possible to renew it while PR renewal is in process? The current PR card expires in March 2023. Thanks!

Oh, wow. That's not good. Over 4 months is crazy. So, the issue is on their side and not necessarily with our photos? When I asked specifically about that, the agent couldn't what the issue is. Guess we have to keep calling them until we receive the cards.

So, I just called IRCC now. They told me my card was sent to production but they had some issues printing it. They couldn't tell me what the issue was though. Has anyone encountered this before?

Thanks! Congratulations to you too! I guess FedEx does not pick up packages from CIC on a daily basis. If they had, we would had our trackers activated on 5th or yesterday. It was indeed frustrating not knowing where the package was. Relieved now! :)

Don't worry just yet. My tracker was activated 10 minutes ago.

Well, finally some good news! My tracker just got activated. Says package was picked up 10 minutes ago. Will be getting the passports tomorrow!

I called CIC. They say the package was picked up on Tuesday Sept 5. Fedex says they don't have the package yet. Neither willing to help further. Not sure what I can do further. :(
