Did you apply from PSK? If yes, I don't think they send PCCs directly to IRCC. You should contact them and clarify.

By sticker visa, I mean that they will stamp it in your passport . In this case, if you apply for a tourist visa, it will be stamped in your passport.

Unfortunately e-visas are not available for Canadians. You can apply for sticker visa. From what I have heard on this forum, the processing time is not bad for sticker visas.

I was able to use my visa appointment for passport surrender at BLS Brampton today. The security guard asked me about the appointment type but he was nice enough to let me in. You should be okay. Just be polite and respectful if they ask!

1) I received the certificate 7/8 days after the oath ceremony date. 2) The officer asked me for my address as part of the verification process ( They ask to show your ID ) .She said my address is not up to date. Would I like her to update it? I said Yes. Done.

During the oath ceremony, they confirm your mailing address. They asked me my address and said that they still have my old address on file. They updated it and sent the certificate to my new address. I would suggest you ask them during the ceremony. It would not also hurt to use the forwarding...

I contacted my MP last week and they reached out to the passport office. Got the same canned response.
