Oh Yes, you are right. I re-read the invite and it does say there is a special roundtable hosted by Institute for Canadian citizenship prior to the oath, then a celebratory reception after, including refreshments, photographs and cake.

Hi All, I got my oath invite today by physical mail. No emails, which I find weird. Date of the pink letter is Sep 05, and Oath is on Sep 23 at 1:15pm at Museum of Contemporary Arts. Everybody waiting to hear from Scarborough, go check your mail boxes!

That sucks, but nothing new to me unfortunately. I was in the 'backlog' for CEC when it got replaced with Express entry in 2015. From one backlog to another :(

Hi All, any news of test invites for applicants @ Scarborough location? Haven't seen any activity for a few weeks in the October forum either.

It is normal. I too am in the same boat. A few of my friends who applied in July 2018 did their tests in Feb 2019 (6 months) and their oath last month. That seems to be the more 'normal' timeline for Scarborough. So I expect there to be some movement in June (6 months from date of submission)...

Some of them have. Vast majority havent. Depends a lot on your location.
