Hi, I think it's a hard thing to sit at that score. Just thought of an option, can't you apply without spouse, go there and apply for SPouse sponsorship immediately and also for 6 months visiting visa, may be after 2 or 3 months. This is my opinion, not sure if this works, please let me know...
