Hey guys, My ECAS has STILL not been updated! Is this strange? I was approved as a sponsor March 9th...and also have still not received it in writing, just over the phone....

I can log on, but there is nothing different, just they have received my application.

Thank you all for your congraturlations and your support! It is a big relief to hear of approval! Now I just need it in writing :) I asked if it had gone to Vienna VO and she said it was "in process" but is usually sent within a few days of approval. Step one done :) Good luck to those still...

Bobbi, Sorry no PMs lately....sooo sorry! Will get to you :) When I phoned CIC, first they won't even check if your application was not received before January 25th. Next she asked if I had a client number, which I didn't, so I just gave her my receipt number and she looked me up that way...

Right, so I had a dream (again) about this whole visa stuff and I woke up this morning to an email just confirming that they had received my application...better than nothing I suppose...! The thing is, the signature through Canada Post says it was signed for on January 6th, but the email says...

I attempted phoning CIC today (thanks for whoever sent me the link to call from overseas...much appreciated! :) ) I waited 10 minutes on hold to be told that they were only processing applications received January 3rd (I know!)...mine arrived January 6th. 55 days for me today....
