Do they update dates on ECAS if there are any updates? Just curious.

does ECAS also show date more/further updates after it moves to "in process" or once it moves to in process, you track further updates via tracker.

:) There is no time limit to get test invite after BG. It all depends on location where file is being processed. Also his BG was completed sometime around first week on Nov if I am not wrong. So it took him almost 3-4 weeks to get the invite.

may be your prohibitions/physical presence/language were also done along with test. Just a wild guess. BTW congrats :)

I think it depends on location also. for e.g I have seen the GTA locations get test invite within 2-3 weeks of BG complete and other locations like Ottawa takes 2-3 months :) Just my observation.

FWIW, I have seen people receiving test invite email 24-48 hours before the test date.

asking for a friend- application for minor along with parents. Do you guys see updates in minor applicants status also? His and wife's ECAS status shows in progress with BG completed but minor's all statuses are in progress(ECAS also in progress). I read that for minor only BG is needed along...

August month applications are moving very slow. July group had very good traction.

FWIW, ECAS only shows "in progress" when they start processing the application. My status in this webpage shows "Application received" which implies that have received my application but have not started working it sadly. My AoR is Sep 6th(delivered Aug 30).

Noob question. For paper applications, how does one receive AOR? Is it through email or snail mail? Also if you apply as a family, does each applicant gets a separate email/AOR on their email ids(separate)?

did you take photo yourself or you went to some store? The letter specifically says it has to be from professional and photo should have name/address of photographer.
