As you said it might be a good idea to collect data from this forum as see if there are people in similar situation. I tired to check in Mar 2019 sub forum to see if anyone is in a similar situation.

3 years and similar stage. applied for gcms notes twice and they didnt provide that yet.

did they send you a separate email regarding this?

I might be in a similar limbo when my PR card expires...

On a side note : when i spoke to IRCC they didnt ask me for my return tickets or time I am expected to be back in Canada.
