Call the VFS office and enquire. Our experience with them was awful, they dispatched our passport without notifying us. Fedex delivered the passport and left it at the front door..no signature was required. you would assume an important/confidential document would require a delivery signature...

We waited 12 months for our file to reopen. After file was reopened it took 3-4 months to finalize everything. its a painful wait.

maybe you need to wait until your file is reopened before you can create an account in the new portal.

can you see any information on ECAS or GCKey? I'm not sure if the new portal only works for open applications.

Its hard to say what they will ask for next but if background is completed they may not request police clearance now as that should be part of the background check. When was the last time you submitted a police clearance, maybe its still valid.
