This is not true, I am CEC and file was approved in August. Now 2 months has passed and no GU.

I am in Ontario as well. No idea, but the agent did say COPR will come from Vancouver immigration. My file was approved in Aug.

Same, my file also got approved. Called IRCC and the agent said check the email regularly. COPR will be issued from Vancouver immigration.

Does anyone have Vancouver as a secondary office?

Congratulations! Well I am a bit of losing hope, called IRCC last week and the agent said my file already approved on Aug 24. But until today I received nothing and no update on my account. I have no idea how much longer I have to wait.

Update: Got a GU today, hope it's getting closer to COPR

As long as your 1 year work experience is legit, you don't have to worry.

Security was passed on May 8, 2020, and I got a GU. I have confirmed both by calling + GCMS notes. I gave my biometrics on March 4, 2020. So the only thing missing is have an officer look into my file, check off the Criminality, and DM. Fingers crossed.

I am an inland applicant, under CEC.

Update: Just called IRCC, the agent (Charles) on the phone was super nice and helpful. I provided my application number, and he verified my Name, DOB, Address and email address. After that, he immediately provided the status of my application. He confirmed IRCC have received my police...

Update: Just received a webform reply from IRCC: "We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the Hong Kong Police Certificate was received by the responsible office." Best holiday ever. Can't wait for my criminality passed and the COPR (fingers crossed).

My PCC sent to Sydney, Nova Scotia but seems no one upload the paper document to my file. Waiting is killing me.

Mine is Aug 1. But no doubt it will get delayed. I really doubt whether the Sydney office has staff working on documents.... lol
