Looks like even August paper applicants are getting oath invites from Scarborough, where as June online applicants (such as myself) still waiting for updates after giving the test back in February. It’s so frustrating.

A lot of online folks are still in process even after a year. I am approaching the one year mark and I have no updates after the test…

Check the email ID that you got the test invitation from. If it has SCR that’s Scarborough

Is your office Scarborough by any chance? They seem to have the slowest processing times.

I just received my GMCS/ATIP notes. Online June 2021 applicant and did my test on February 11th 2022. The notes show that /Language/Residence/Prohibition are still “Not started”…. And due date says 2022/09/03 which I think is based on my AOR date 2021/09/08. looks like it’s going to be a long...

Tomorrow will be 3 months since I completed my test.. June 2021 applicants from other offices are already getting their oath invites. Guess all I can do is wait ….

Thank you, yeah I am going to do that. I realized it’s just a waste of money. Lesson learnt.

Unfortunately having a US job offer isn’t a criteria for urgent processing on Canadian citizenship application. But doesn’t mean that you can’t call or reach out to them and try asking. Good luck!

Any June online Scarborough applicants with decision made or oath invite??

I am in the same boat since February. Looks like a lot of people have been waiting since July 2021… it’s gonna be a long wait for us I think :(

Gave and passed the test on Feb 11th. No updates since. Scarborough office.

I have been waiting since Feb, and others have been waiting since December for next steps. It’s anyone’s guess at this point
