That's extreme thinking.. even IRCC understands your personal or professional status can change - getting married/getting divorced, job change, kid(s), death etc. Sure they can ask for more proofs and then you can share wedding card, pictures (wedding, vacation, with family, with friends), text...

I added spouse after ITA. Marriage certificate was enough. We got MEP and BIL too.

You can't do anything except for waiting. IRCC is not transparent about the status updates.

Oh shoot! I was banking on this. Not really keen on settling in the US after getting CA passport. There aren't any takers in the EU not even France?
