No same here, wow how can he say between now & march. I mean on what basis?. Also, i tried calling cic since 8am (when they open) but all they say we are experiencing high volume of calls.

If it's in progress that means it's still to be approved by officer. My B/G says we are processing your background check, it has been like this since I passed medical. No NA2. Don't stress as we can't do much about it, Just focus on what you can do & it will come one day. :)

As far as I remember, according to your gcms notes, eligibility was recommended pass. So, it's just that Officer has to approve it & initiate security check. I am in pretty much same boat, mine is recommended pass as well. Hopefully it's coming soon :)

Sorry it's not true that it ALWAYS means security screening if you get this reply. When additional docs are requested like rcmp then they also send this reply as well.

All i can guess is that medical is reviewed by Canada Health Care & IRCC is yet to get reply from them. Is there anything about medical in gcms notes, like report sent to CHC ?

So, why is medical under review?, it was close to getting expired?
