I have a pending CWP (based from my PNP nomination) application since last September 2022. When the temporary PGWP extension policy came into effect, I opted in for the extension. I got approval for the PGWP extension a week after opting in. Right now I don't know what will happen to my CWP...

Mine took 3 months. Would suggest to defer your intake to a later date.

I got 18 months starting from the date it was approved. My original PGWP expires September 2023. The extension expires October 2024. So, I only got a total of 13 months extension. Still, I'm thankful for that extension.
