Hello everyone, Got a GU this morning. AOR AUGUST 13th Medical passed in April Today after GU- Background check status changed to "Your application is in progress...." Looks like I've cleared my eligibility. Any thoughts on it?!

Almost same timeline AOR FEBRUARY 17, 2021 Called CIC yesterday and NO movement to my file. Only eligibility is Recommended pass.

VO you can ask when you call IRCC. Its just your file processing office.

Yes totally possibly. Note that BGC and Eligibility are the last steps so either of them can be done first and then the other one.

For eligibility - You don't get any update. I got a GU (no email) that my application is updated when I checked my BGC status was changed to "Your application is in progress.....: INSTEAD OF, "we are processing your background check...." I called them the next day and they told me I have...

Lets hope for the best :D I have confirmed with them and they said my eligibility is passed (which I knew) and said BGC hasn't started yet. So, Im on the last stage. lets see... Fingers crossed really!!!!:D
