From reading the information provided by IRCC through ATIP requests, it looks like Scarborough is scheduling about 300-400 tests per week, but they have 13,200 applications waiting for tests. Yes. There are some people who applied in March and April 2019 and waiting for Test schedule. 1 year is the SLA so I would say pls be mentally prepared to wait till August 2020 for decision made. Please don't get impatient looking at others who got faster processing. The case office location...

Sadly yes, it is normal. They have time till April 2020 to Decision Made, so hold tight for couple more months..

Some people who applied in April 2019 and still waiting for test invite.. I know a family who applied in Feb 2019 just got test invites for last month. The CIC only looks at the 12 month average processing time, so we just have to wait till 12 months before revisiting the app and escalating...

You can count yourself to be lucky/advantaged.. I think because of your location (Edmonton) and Single, your file has moved a bit quicker than a lot of other people from other locations but went into process earlier than yours!
