What's up with Vancouver office, does anyone have any insight into what could be the real reason for the delays on west coast?

Vancouver seems to be extremely slow in issuing OCI, I have not seen a single entry in this forum who received OCI that was applied in 2024, hopefully April will bring some good news...

Interesting!! did you apply in January? I applied on 9th January(Surrey-Walkin) but somehow didn't get acknowledgement till 26th Jan.

I kinda agree, i think the wording is a bit wrong in the question, they should probably ask, if you/your family have applied for OCI in the 'past'

We applied for OCI on January 9th and i was informed that since our kid's passport is expiring it is a good idea to get it renewed before applying, so we went ahead and applied for rest of the family members, we received the renewed Canadian passport and I am filling the form for my kid's OCI...

It seems there are not many folks active on this forum from Vancouver, there is a tracking sheet(in my signature) which shows some data entries, you can add yours there to see some trends, not sure how updated it is though

I have tried my best to put in the correct values, seems like there are others like me as well. May be I will give it another week's time and then hopefully I see the status update. Do we have a shared sheet for Vancouver where we can track the trends, I noticed someone shared one for east coast.
